Ok, først vil jeg gerne lige bede om lidt credit for kreativitet hvad angår indlægstitel – jeg har endda googlet de mest populære Harry Potter-besværgelser for at finde den, der var mest kompatibel med ordet “fashion”. Så ja, hvis du endnu ikke har opdaget temaet for denne omgang fredags-øjenslik(eyecandy er knap så flatterende på dansk, hva?), så er det netop blandingen af ret så høj mode og Harry Potter-universet.. Genialt? Det tror jeg nok! Denne editorial er fra Vogue Nippon’s september-udgave og inkluderer folk fra modens absolutte Fønixorden: Bette Franke, Lindsey Wixon og Caroline Brasch Nielsen, stylet af Anna Dello Russo. Jeg er selv fuldstændigt oppe at levitere over denne overdådige modeserie. Ikke så meget på grund af stylingen, faktisk, men mest på grund af det faktum, at modeverdenen også er tosset over Harry Potter som resten af verden er(eller burde være)! Ah, okay, jeg har det faktisk ganske fint med stylingen. Især de runde briller, fine hatte og det sorte kostskole-agtige tøj på billedet af pigerne på trappen.. Og nå jo, der hvor pigerne er kappeklædte og i Gryffindor-halstørklæder på andet sidste billede – en dag skal jeg også have mig sådan et sæt! Hvad siger I til denne de vises sten af en dejlig modeserie?
Ok, firstly, I’d like to ask for some credit for my creativity on the title of this post. I even googled the most popular Harry Potter spells to find the one that was the most compatible with the word “fashion”. So, well, if you haven’t figuret out the theme for this batch of Friday-eyecandy, it is exactly a mix of very high fashion and the wonderous universe of Harry Potter.. Genious? I think so! This editorial is from Vogue Nippon’s September issue and includes people from the very Order of the Phoenix in the fashion industry: Bette Franke, Lindsey Wixon and Caroline Brasch Nielsen styled by Anna Dello Russo. I’m completely levitating over this lavish editorial. Not so much because of the styling, actually, but more about the fact that the fashion inapparently is just as crazy about Harry Potter as the rest of the world is(or should be)! Ah, okay, I actually kind of like the styling, still. Especially the rounded glasses, the cute hats and the black borading school looks on th photo with the girls on the steps.. Oh and of course the look, where the girls are all dressed in capes and Gryffindor scarfs on the second to last shot – some day I’ll be getting an outfit just like that myself!
