MMM er en designer man har hørt en masse til på det seneste og den omtale agter jeg at fortsætte med at holde ved lige efter at have set MMMs couture-looks. Mest af alt: De sidste fem looks fra kollektionen, som jeg er fuldstændig væk i. Jeg opdagede dem, da jeg sad og svisjede gennem couture-showene gennem style.coms app på min telefon på vej hjem fra Paris(Hvor smart er det lige? En super duper app, siger jeg jer!). Jeg blev bjergtaget med det samme, kan I tro! Jeg elsker hvordan der leges med farver, teksturer og mønstre på de to første looks, der nærmest er et sammensurium af jungleinspiration klistret fast til en menneskekrop – og så er de hvide plateaustøvler dertil, som et godt neutralt men stadig opmærksomhedskrævende element, virkelig skønne. De sidste tre looks fanger mig naturligvis grundet de vilde teksturer og glimmeret. Jeg synes det er super lækkert at have nogle forholdsvist kendte og simple former fremhævet af noget der mest af alt bare ligner konfetti i flotte farver. Jeg ville i hvert fald ikke have noget imod at være iklædt konfetti fra top til tå! Jeg ved ikke hvad der imponerer mig mest: det kunstneriske udtryk ved disse fem looks, eller det faktum at det rent faktisk er tøj. Hvad synes I?

MMM is a designer we’ve heard a lot about recently and I have no intentions on stopping saying his name after I recently saw the MMM couture looks. Well, most of all: the last five looks from the collections, which I am deeply in love with. I discovered them, when I was swishing through the couture shows through the style.com app on my phone, on my way back from Paris(How smart is that? A wonderful app, I tell you!). I was spellbound at once! I love how there is a play of colours, textures and patterns on the to first looks, that are almost a mishmash of jungle like inspiration glued to a human body – and the white platform boots do, as a neutral yet still attention craving element, work perfectly with these looks. The last three looks intrigued me, naturally, because of the wild textures and the glitter. I think it’s great having these fairly well-known and simple shapes being emphasized by something that, most of all, just looks like nicely coloured confetti. I know I wouldn’t mind being dressed in confetti from head to toe! I’m not sure what impresses me the most: the artistic expression of these five looks, or the fact that they’re actually clothes.
