Some time ago I got an e-mail from some people who were putting together a book. The book was made up of works from different Scandi artists and now the people making it wanted to get a submission from me. The book is now out, it’s called SHARE Scandinavia, and as the name suggests, it’s a book that you can share with others. All the pages are perforated, so that you can rip out the photos and use them as posters or give them to friends or strangers.
Being published on print this way has given me a confidence boost when it comes to my artistic practice. You feel like a different kind of creative professional when people contact you – as a blogger who’s job is showing off yourself – to get your photographic work and not a photo of yourself. I love it, actually!
