Man kunne fristes til at tro at jeg var færdig med at rejse i år efter at have rejst 14 gange i 6 forskellige byer.. Det troede jeg også selv, indtil jeg i sidste uge fik en e-mail fra Paris’ turistbureau, der spurgte om de måtte invitere mig på en VIP-weekend-shoppetur til netop byernes by i selskab med 15 andre internationale og franske bloggere. Og ja, I kan vel gætte hvad mit svar var? Det er i hvert fald lidt svært ikke at sige “juhu, helt sikkert!”, så i går sprang jeg på flyet mod Paris. I dag står den på tur til luksus fashion outlet-byen La Vallée Village med VIP-kort, champagnesmagning i Saint-Germain-des-Près og aftensmad på toppen af det nye indkøbs-center Beaugrenelle. På søndag er der udflugt til Galeries Lafayette og derefter mit favoritområde, Le Marais.. Fancy tur alligevel, hva’? Jeg har i hvert fald ikke noget imod sådan en invitation – og så lige op til jul(og så skal man ikke kimse af en chance for at få hamstret flere billige apotekervarer, cremer og second-hand-tøj – jeg tager den store kuffert med)! Faktisk har jeg aldrig rigtig været på jule-shopping-rejser før – har I?
You might think that I was done traveling after having traveled 14 times in 6 different cities this year.. Well, I thought so myself, until I last week received an e-mail from the Parisian office of tourism asking me if they could invite me on a VIP-shopping-weekend trip to the city of lights along with 15 other international and French bloggers. And, yeah, you can easily guess my answer, right? I mean, it wasn’t really that hard saying anything but “yay, for sure!”, so yesterday I got on the plane to Paris. Today’s schedule says a trip to the luxury fashion outlet, La Vallée Village, with VIP-cards, them champagne tasting in Saint-Germain-des-Près and dinner at the top of the new shopping center, Beaugrenelle. On Sunday we’ll be visiting the Galeries Lafayette and then my fave spot of the city, Le Marais.. Fancy trip, huh? I don’t mind such an invite – and then right before Christmas(and then you must appreciate the opportunity for hoarding cheap pharmacy-stuff, creams and second hand clothing – I’m bringing the big suitcase)!
