Så er tiden kommet til mine yndlingskollektioner fra London, og vi starter med en kollektion, der, trods sine simple farver og brug af dyreprint(hvilket jeg normalt aldrig bifalder), virkelig fanger mig: Simone Rocha. Jeg er helt fortryllet af den fabelagtige brug af materialer og teksturer og der er simpelthen så mange ting, man kan gå i dybden med at analysere og undersøge, at jeg slet ikke kan overkomme det.. Men vi prøver alligevel: Først er der det lyserøde jakke-look i et halvstift og tykt materiale, som giver et ret fint, futuristisk look til en ellers klassisk silhouet. Fedt. Så kommer vi til den gennemsigtige kjole med prikkerne, der både er super simpel og super interessant at se på – og milevidt fra det lyserøde look! Fedt. Dernest: kombination af laknederdel og skinnende pelssweater, det må være vidunderlig at have på og som står i fantastisk kontrast til hinanden. Fedt. Så et simpelt look, igen med en sart lyserød farve og en skjorte, der ved først øjekast ikke er så interessant, indtil man ser “skyggen” af en bh, der er syet ind i skjorten. Fedt. Så kommer vi til halv klassisk skjorte/halv leopard-plys-kjolen, som igen giver en vindunderlig kontrast og et super interessant look, der ikke er set lignende før. Jeg mener, jungleplys-kontorskjorte-kombi, helt ærligt! Fedt. Derefter: gennemsigtig leopard-plasticnederdel kombineret med højhalset plys-sweater, kan man sige andet end: endnu en ualmindeligt fin kontrast? Nej, vel? Fedt. Nu kommer vi til skjorte med plyspaneler på “korsettet” plus plys-nederdel. Derudover en skøn kombination af hvide/cremede farvetoner. Fedt. Sidst: en komplet cocktailkjole i pels med tyl-agitgt underskørt. Fedt, fedt, fedt. En komplet alsidig og uendeligt spændende kollektion fra Simone Rocha, som jeg kunne kigge på i evigheder, og stadig blive overrasket, hver gang jeg opdager noget nyt. Enorm applaus herfra! Time has come for me to show you my fave collections from London and we’ll be starting with a collection which, despite it’s simple colourscheme and use of animalprints(which I usually never applaud), really intrigues me: Simone Rocha. I am completely enchanted by the faboulous use of materials and textures and the fact that there are som many things to be analysed and examined, that it blows my mind.. but let’s try anyways: First there is the pink coat, which, with it’s stiff and thick material, creates a nice and futuristic look to an otherwise classic silhouet. Great. Then, the seethrough dress with the dots, which is both super simple and really interesting to look at – and miles apart from the pink coat. Great. Then: a combination of a patent leather skirt and and a shiny fur sweater which must be amazing to wear and which makes an interesting contrast. Great. Then a simple look, again with the pale pink colour and a shirt, which, at first eyesight, seems uninteresting until you notice the “shadow” of a bra sewn into the shirt. Great. Then we’ve made it to a half classic shirt/half leopard plush-dress, which creates the coolest contrast and super interesting look, that I’ve seen nothing alike before. I mean, jungle plush and an office shirt combined? Great. Hereafter: seethrough leopardprint plastic skirt combined with a turtleneck plush sweater. Can you say anything but: incredibly cute contrast? No. Great. Then there’s the shirt with plushy panels on the “corset” and a plushy skirt and furthermore, a swell combination og creamy and white colours. Great. Latsly we have a completely furry cocktaildress with a sheer under skirt. Great, great, great. An amazingly versatile and neverendingly interesting collection from Simone Rocha, which I could keep looking at for hours without getting bored. I am amazed. How do you like it?
