3 ways to wear: monochrome party outfits

It’s friday, it’s party season and you guys have been missing “3 Ways to Wear”  – that only makes one thing possible: the return of the popular post series! we’ll start with a post including glitz and lipstick and today I’ll guide you as to how you can style your monochrome party look without becoming a snoozefest!

LADYLIKE

For a ladylike look I’d absolutely go for a heel and add a dress that’s equally as revealing at it covers up. A deep V heckling and long sleeves or a high neck, short dress provides the right amount of skin showing for a ladylike look. I’ll be wearing it with a dark lip to add drama!

LAYERING GLITTER

Something I personally am planning to do for NYE is layering glittery items. Doing a monochrome look allows you to play with structures and glitz without getting too much. Silver and gold are simple glitter colors that go quite well for glitter layering – and then they go with every lipstick color on your make-up shelf!

YOUNG AND FEMININE

To go a bit younger and more fun for your party look is to take up the skirt length and add something tightly fitting for the top. I personally think that little A-line skirts and pink are perfect for a younger look. If you go for glitter on the bottom, you can add a simple every day top to balance it out – a tip for those dressing for NYE on a budget!
