Photosources: Vanillascented, Passions for fashion
Igår fik jeg en åbenbaring. Jeg fandt ud af, hvad jeg skal have på til nytårsaften(til trods for festen endnu ikke er fundet)! Jeg har længe været sindssygt forelsket i Maria fra Vanillascented’s hjemmesyede outfit med en crop top og et pencilskirt i hvid. Derudover er jeg tosset med kæde-øreringene fra H&M Divided, som Christina fra passions for fashion skrev om for nylig – så nu er jagten gået ind! I dag har jeg været i stofbutikken og købe det stof der kom tættest på plastic, hvid imiteret læder, som jeg vil lakere, og i dag går jeg i gang med at forsøge mig med et mønster inspireret af Marias lækre sæt. Derudover har jeg gennemrodet H&M’erne i Aalborg efter de der lækre øreringe, dog uden held – webshoppen har dem heller ikke, øv! Men indtil nytårsaften vil jeg lede vildt og voldsomt efter dem, hvis du finder et par så sig til! Så er planen ellers at jeg skal i hvidt, hjemmesyet plastic-læder getup og med tossede kæde-øreringe, en god læbestift og sorte stilletter. Resten af min dag vil jeg derfor bruge med stof, saks, nål, tråd og Billie Holiday i højtalerne (bare til det gode humør). Har I fundet ud af, hvad I skal hoppe i nytårsaften? I så fald hvad?
Yesterday I had an epiphany. I found out what I want to wear for New Year’s eve(despite I haven’t found the party yet)! I’ve been goung mad for Ma. I’m also head over heels for the gorgeous , that Christina from parrions for fashion posted about recently – so now it’s time for the hunt! Today I went to the fabric store to get the fabric closest to plastic I could find, white fake lather, which I’ll give a coat of sheer, shiny laquer, and today I’ll start making a pattern for the outfit, inspired by Marias gorgeous getup. I’ve also looked through all the H&Ms in Aalborg but without luck – the earrings are nowhere to be found, not even on the webshop, so until New Year’s eve I’ll go looking for them anywhere – if you find a pair, please tell me! But the plan is that I’ll be in a white, homesewn plasticy-leather getup with those chain earrings, a good lipstick an black heels for New Year’s! The rest of my day with be spent in company with fabrics, scissors, needle, thread and Billie Holiday (just to keep up the mood). Have you found out what you’ll wear for New Year’s yet? What?
