SHINY & SHEER
Material wise, there are two pretty big tendencies this season – shiny and sheer materials. one of my fave materials of the shiny ones is the new velvet trend, which I think will be huge – velvet suits and jackets is awesome! Both combined with shiny fabrics and standing on its own are the sheer materials such as lace, which is quite popular. Especially lace inserts are seen a lot and I think it’s so cute!
COMFY & BRIGHT
To other tendencies which sometimes overlap, are some of my faves. Firstly, we’ve got the knit dresses, which are quite a hit this season, especially with a longer skirt or a pair of tight fitting trousers underneath. And sometimes they come in bright colors like yellow and pink, which has become quite a thing as well. I’m such a sucker for the completely pink looks, which there are surprisingly many of. I especially love those that are mate from comfy materials such as knit and velvet – bright and comfy at the same time!
