Under haute couture modeugen i Paris, var jeg jo så heldig at få tillusket mig et fotograf-pressekort til dette show af Didit Hediprasetyo. Jeg kendte ikke selv designeren før, men jeg tænkte at jeg lige så godt kunne tage chancen alligevel. Jeg har fået nogle interesserede kommentarer omkring hvordan det var at komme derind og hvordan det gik til, hvilket jeg nu vil fortælle lidt om. Pressekortet fik jeg af en fotograf, der ikke selv kunne nå at komme til showet. Heldigvis fik jeg sludret med en anden fotograf, der selv skulle ind og fotografere det, eftersom jeg ikke anede hvad jeg skulle gøre, når jeg kom ind og han fortalte mig at jeg burde komme tidligt og sætte mig på gulvet, for enden af runway’en foran de andre fotografer, så jeg slev kunne få fuldt udsyn uden at stå i vejen for andre. Så da jeg kom hen til showet, hev jeg mit pressekort og kameraet frem og gik hen til damen ved presseindgangen, som spurgte efter mit navn, som hun ville finde på en liste. Jeg vidste jo godt at navnet ikke stod på listen, men prøvede at spille cool og lade som ingenting – og da hun ikke kunne finde mig, skrev hun selv navnet på og bad mig gå ind, pyha! Jeg kom ind og gik lidt rundt omkring runway’en indil jeg fik øje på der, hvor de andre fotografer havde stillet op og smuttede derned. Heldigvis var der stadig plads tilbage på det nederste trin foran fotografere med stativer, så der fik jeg sat mig. Fotografen, jeg tidligere havde snakket med om showet kom hen og hilste på mig og det var ret rart at jeg følte at jeg lidt kendte nogen – for når man kommer som en spinkel, 20-årig dansk pige med en side-hestehale, helt alene med et (i forhold til de andre fotografer) lille, ukompliceret kamera, er man ikke lige den, der høster allermest respekt fra modefotograferne. Da fotograferne havde sat sig på plads, kom tilskuerne ind. Showet i sig selv var ikke fuldstændig min smag, men jeg synes der var nogle perler indimellem. Jeg er først og fremmest vild med modellernes styling – de blå kontaktlinser ser superlækre ud med de mørke læber og parykken. Derudover passede det generelt godt til kollektionen, da det både tilførte lidt mystik og, på samme tid, gav plads til tøjet. Mine personlige fatoritter er den lange, blomstrede kjole på billede 4 og den glitrende t-shirt på billede 5. Jeg er også ret vild med blomsterkransen på modellens hoved, på det andet sidste billede. Åh, det var en helvedes masse tekst – men nu har I historien – hvad synes I? Og hvilke looks og billeder er jeres favoritter?

During the haute couture week in Paris I was lucky to get my hands on a phtographer’s presscard for this show by Didit Hediprasetyo. I didn’t know the designer before, but I thought that I should take the chance and go anyway. I’ve gotten some interested comments regarding the experience and I decided to tell you all about it now. I got the presscard from a photographer, who couldn’t make it to the show himself. Then I chatted a bit to an other photographer, since I had no idea of what to do, when I got to the show and he told be to get there early and sit on the floor at the end of the runway, so I’d get a good view of the show and don’t be in the way of the other photographers. When I got to the show, I took out my camera and my presscard and went over to the lady at the press entrance, who asked for my name, so she could cross it off on a list. Of course I knew my name wasn’t on the list, but I tried to play it cool and pretend like nothing was wrong – and when she couldn’t find my name, she simply wrote in on the list herself and aksed me to go in, pheeew! I went inside and started walking around the runway until I saw the place, where the other photographers had set up. I went down to the end of the runway and luckily, I found a spot on the bottom step in front of the others. The photographer, who I’d talked to about the show before came over and talked to me a bit. It was really nice to feel like I wans’t all alone, because when you’re a little, 20 year old Danish girl with a side ponytail and a (compared to the other photographers) little, uncomplicated camera, you don’t get too much respect from those fashion photographers. When all of the photographers had found their places, the “audience” came in and the show started. The show itself wasn’t completely my taste, but I think there were some good looks. Firstly, I love the styling of the models – the blue contacts look amazing with the dark lips and dark wigs and it brought mystery to the looks of the show, but then it also gave room for the clothes to be seen. My personal faves of the show are the foral dress on the fourth photo, the glittery t-shirt on the fifth photo and the flowers on the model’s head on the second to last photo.
