Two days ago, I finished off my fashion week by going to the Louis Nielsen Brillelook/brilleblogger finals as the end of the Louis Nielsen posts I’ve been doing during the past couple of months. I was extremely tired and icky after having been working non stop for three days in a row, coming to the event directly from a photographer job for a Cover event and most of all just wanting to go home and sleep. It was weighed up a bit by the fact that the bar was free when I arrived, so that I could calm down a bit. Then I was really excited to see my own name on a chair at the event – pretty cool, huh? When the show started and the blogger part began, the judges told uswhat they’d been noticing in all of the bloggers’ blogposts during the different challenges – my posts came up on the big screen three times in a row, which I thought was super cool.. But my name on the chair and my posts on the screen big screen faded a bit when Laura, one of the judges, announced the winner of the blogging challenge and thereby the winner of a trip to Tanzania with Louis Nielsen and the Brillelook winner – it was me! Ha! I was pretty overwhelmed and had no idea of what to make of myself, as I stood there, icky, sloppy, tired and sweaty after a tough fashion week, having to tell the host how I felt; “Ummm, I kind of don’t really know..”. But damn, I was recognized for something that I’ve been working extremely hard on, for the sole reason that I wanted to justify doing sponsored posts to myself. And that was important to me! When everything was done, my frined, Kathrine, and I went outside to sit on the ground and ponder. We ended up “celebrating” my win by going home and having chips and dip on the couch. And hey, obviously, I am the type of person, who wins!
