This thursday I did something that I hadn’t done in a parking lot before. My sweet friend, Linea, and I had gone mural watching, and on the parking lot of my local grocery store this gorgeous mural had appeared – the perfect spot to shoot outfit photos! So after having waited for a parked car to leave the spot in front of the mural, we spent half an hour shooting my outfit and holding three parking spots free of cars so that we could use the entire space. People must have thought we were crazy!
The thing was, I had put on one of my fall/winter classics, the amazing black sequined sweater dress, which went perfectly with the colors of the mural. I recently rediscovered it when I opened my so called “sweater closet”, in the event of fall beginning for real. I had completely forgotten about the existent of sweaters and oh my, I have loads of them! Underneath the sweater, I used a white roll neck blouse – i just love how it looks when it’s showing underneath the dress.
To give the dark dress a bit of contrast, I had put on a pair of white sandals from boohoo, which had dropped in the mailbox just that morning(Or.. well.. they’re to big to fit in there. I picked them up at the mail office.) and I wore them with a pair of white socks – I think I can just make it to use these sandals a couple of times before it gets too cold, if I do it with the socks.
