The Christmas party season isn’t just for the wild, crazy party time-parties, but also the time of the innumerable christmas parties with family, the lunch parties and in general the gatherings that don’t work well with tons of sequins and tight velvet dresses. So it’s pretty important to have a good outfit at hand for those gatherings that’s not too flashy.
My idea for the perfect family gathering outfit consists of something as simple as a fancy skirt – for the festive part – and a loose fitted sweater – for the laid back part – so you’l get an outfit that says “I dressed up, but I’m not going out”. If you want, you can add a bit of lipstick, as I did, since I always wear lipstick.
Oh, and if you’re not as into nude tights as I am(even though it’s December) this is the perfect outfit for woolen tights or a pair of black nylons.
I know this is the look, I’ll be sporting for my share of family gatherings this season!
