Recently Monki asked me to style three looks solely consisting of Monki clothes from their summer collection – not a bad task, huh? So of course I said yes and I style three #monkistyle looks with different themes, and oh, I really love them!

LONG LAYERS
HAIR BAND, JACKET, SHIRT DRESS, TROUSERS
I really like adding multiple lengths to an outfit and playing with layers. With a pair of trousers under a shirt dress and a long spring coat, you’ll get a great multi-lenght look that’s quite interesting without it getting too crazy. If you’re in for a bit more layering fun, you can go: long top over skirt/dress over trousers – hey! I have to try that!
SPORTY MONOCHROME
SUNGLASSES, TOP, KAFTAN, SKIRT, SOCKS
I am a real monochromatic outfit girl, but if you’re not that into wearing all yellow or all blue, all over, all day, you can break up the monochromatic look with sporty elements for a cool look. To this yellow look, I added some sporty black and white socks and a white blouse. And to play with the now almost monochromatic look, you can play with accessories in the same hues as your color, like I did with these orange shades.
BREAK IT UP!
JACKET, DRESS, SKIRT
Completely, all over printed outfits are amazing, but they can also become a little too much – like if you put on a printed dress and a printed jacket at the same time. So I’ve broken up the printed outfit with a solid color that adds some character to the wild prints. A nice solid color that compliments your print can make the look a whole lot calmer to look at.
