There are some color combinations that I haven’t always found to be too charming. Red and green, for example, or orange and blue.. Or blue and yellow. Though, it shows, that I might be starting to think otherwise: on Friday I had put on an outfit, which was a variation of blue and yellow, blue and gold. And when editing my photos, I caught myself making even more contrasting blue and yellow hues in the highlights and shadows of the photos to make it even more visible.
Blue and gold are, though, a bit more easy to relate to that blue and yellow. Now, you wouldn’t sneer at someone who wore a bunch of gold jewelry with a blue dress, but I still think my wearing this contrasty color combo is conquering a bit of my fear of blue and yellow. And even taking it all the way – blue eye shadow, blue nails and golden buckles on the boots.
If I’ll ever wear stuff like red and green we’ll have to wait and see. Either, I’ll keep as far away from it as possible during Christmans time, otherwise I’ll be caught by the atmosphere and dress up as a Christmas tree.. I doubt it, but you never know!
