NYFW AW15: favorite tendencies

NEW YORK blue orange tendencyBLUE & ORANGE

Two of colors that are quite apparent on the catwalk in New York this season are some of my faves – especially when combined! Cobalt blue and burnt orange and a bit of mustard yellow. I’m impressed that a color as bold as orange has made it’s way to so many collections. Just think how amazing the street style scene will look next season and how many amazing blue and orange items, there’ll be found in the high street stores soon.. Yay!

NEW YORK long layers tendencyLONG LAYERS

Something I really want to do more of is also one of the tendencies that I spotted on style.com, looking through the New York collections. I’m so hooked on mixing more and longer layers creating big silhouettes and interesting outfits. A long sweater or dress over a pair of super wide trousers topped with a coat, or just a slip dress over a long pant. Good, huh?

NEW YORK a pop of primary colors tendencyA POP OF PRIMARY COLORS

As you might know, I’m a color lover – and primary colors in Bauhaus-ish constellations are just amazing! In a bunch of the collections in NYC this season there are primary colored details with sporty notes, but also with little hints to the primary colored toys from the childhood but also hints to the logo mania that was so incredibly popular the past seasons. I would really not mind wearing something black, if it had cool primary colored details like the ones on this collage.

Which tendency is your fave?

And how do you like my new way of showing the collections?
