I really blog a lot about shoots I’ve been on lately, don’t I? Oh, well, the world has, as mentioned HERE, gone bananas and because of that fact, I was flown to London by ASOS some weeks ago to shoot some photos for their “How I Wear”-feature for their physical magazine. ASOS got a hold of me again, after I’d done THIS styling feature for their mobile app, Fashion Up, because they liked it so much.
So this time, they took me all the way to London, where I was picked up by an fancy car service at the airport and taken to a fancy hotel mad rout of gold, marble and men wearing top hats, who always wanted to carry my suitcase, where I lived for three days. On the middle day, I went to Brixton, where I met up with the ASOS team, a bunch of sweet and fun girls, who’d brought tons of clothes with which we styled a bunch of outfits, showing three different trends. We shot the photos around the multi cultural, colorful and quite cozy Brixton Marked area(if you go to London, make sure to go to Brixton – it’s such and interesting area!) from 10am and until the light was gone. Meanwhile I was interviewed for the feature about my own style and how I liked the different trends used in the shoot. It was such a fun day and it was great to see how it is to work with something as huge as ASOS – you’d think it was quite grand and fancy, but actually the group of people was quite small and the atmosphere was really laid back. A wonderful way to do it, if you ask me!
The magazine will be out on Wednesday, so get ready to get a look at what was produced in the shoot quite soon – I know I can’t wait!
