Recently I went to visit one of the friends I’ve gotten though my blogger job, Rebecca Vera Stahne, show one of the coolest people I know.
Rebecca recently started up something that truly appeals to my sustainability heart, when it comes to clothes – a swapping concept called Veras Copenhagen, where you can bring your old clothes to her store and swap it for new clothes in the shop. Genious! I’ve already dropped by the shop with some items that I can shop new, pre-loved clothes for – but how does it work?
1: You buy a membership on verascopenhagen.dk, for 180DKK a month.
2: Afterwards, you can put up the clothes you wish to hand in on the website by clicking “indlevér tøj” and you can get it picked up from your place or take it to the shop yourself. You have to live in Copenhagen, by the way, to have your clothes picked up.
3: After handing in your clothes, you get points equivalent to the clothes you handed in, and for them you can shop on the website or in the store.
4: If you don’t live in Copenhagen, you can still shop in the store or online, as long as you’ve signed up!

Rebecca also made a collection for the Copenhagen festival, Distortion, which can be bought in the store, too!
