The big fall shopping guide vol. 1: the feminine part

Fall has arrived. I’m still wearing summer clothes and making myself believe that it’s going to be summery warm in September, too. Soon reason will get to me and I do know it – it’s about time to put on the wooly sweaters and long sleeved tops and everything else appropriate for fall.

So I made a little series of three fall shopping guides, which, as we move on towards colder times, will give shopping and styling tips for items that will last through fall and winter. Today we’re doing feminine fall looks and later on, we’ll have a look at trousers and layering.

THE SWEATER DRESSsweaterdresses

An absolute essential for me is the sweater dress, which will work as an entire outfit in itself, now that the weather is still mild, but which can also be worn with shirts, high neck tops and wooly tights when winter comes. Here are those I like the best plus a pinafore dress which works with any sweater and a bunch of cute long sleeve dresses, because.. They’re just so pretty!

SWEATER + SKIRTsweaters and skirtsAn easy way to keep a bit feminine while still being kept warm is adding a skirt to your knit jumper. While the weather’s still mild, go for bare legs for an extra feminine and fun feel and add tights when the cold gets too cold.
