If there’s one thing I miss, while being back here in Aalborg with the Danish summer weather outside blowing and dripping away, it’s the vacay that I had last week! I wonder if I even had one thought about when I’d be sitting here on a cold, boring and cloudy day in Aalborg writing this post, when we were shooting these photos on the nicest beach in Altafulla? I bet not, I probably just enjoyed being in vacation mode!
My first bathing and chill out vacation in almost a decade was perfect. Full of sun, heat and trips to the beach every day – and one night, too. It’s quite a flat feeling coming back to reality, which does not include living in a bungalow with 10 friends, amazing amounts of rosé wine and tapas nor daily trips to the beach and tanning, cross words and magazines on the balcony.
Changes have to be made – and in more than one way! Firstly, I’ll have to get back on track with the actual holidays, which do not only include capital cities and work. Secondly, my everyday life is just about to change pretty much, which can only have a great outcome – I’ll tell you more about that soon!
Until then, I’ll be remembering my great vacay with these beach shots and then I’ll just be looking forward to the new changes and my next trip to the south and the blues of the Mediterranean .
