Nu har jeg slet ikke haft tid til at gå gennem alle NY, London og Milano-showene, men i går havde jeg lidt tid og så mit snit til at tjekke nogle af dem ud. En af dem, der fangede mit øje var Jil Sander – selvom æstetikken i denne kollektion er lidt langt fra min egen stil synes jeg bare det er åh, så pænt! Jeg opdagede kollektionen da jeg kiggede gennem Style.com’s videoer fra FW12-modeugerne og jeg ville have lagt en video op af showet, men den nægter simpelthen at vise sig, øv! Men tilbage til kollektionen: det, jeg faldt for er det super bløde, blege, lidt gammeldags look og frakkerne – åh, frakkerne! De er simpelthen så fint skåret og det, at modellerne holder dem sammen, giver et rigtig fint indtryk. Jeg er også vild med det fine, nattøjs-agtige udtryk, der bl.a. ses i toppen på andet look og kjolen i fjerde look på collagen. Derudover er jeg vild med de kontrasterende sorte looks, der kom ind til sidst – specielt frakken, fordi den gør, at man får øjnene op for hvor meget en farve kan gøre ved et stykke tøj. Den sorte farve giver de sidste looks et komplet andet udtryk end de looks med de lyse farver, selvom formene og snittene stort set er de helt samme som de ikke-sorte looks. En super fin og gennemtænkt kollektion, må jeg sige – og en super fin afslutning på Raf Simons tid hos Jil Sander! Mine favoritlooks er tredje look med de højtaljede bukser, femte look med den hvide frakke over sølvkjolen (fantastisk materiale-kontrast med det blanke mod det matte og lidt uldne. I haven’t had the time to go through all the NY, London and Milan shows, but yesterday I had a little time and I saw a chance to check some of them out. One show that caught my eye was Jil Sander – even though the aesthetics in the collection are a bit far from my own style, I just think it’s sooooo pretty! I found the collection at Style.com’s videos from the FW12-fashion weeks and I would have posted the video from this show, but it just won’t work, dang! But back to the collection: what I fell for is the super soft, pale, oldfashioned look and the coats – oh my, the coats! They’re so nicely cut and the fact that the models clutch them together at the top is so nice. I also love the black, contrasting looks, that are in the end of the collection – especially the coat, since it makes you see how much a colour can do for a piece of clothes. The black colour brings a completely different expression to the looks, even though most of the black looks have the same shapes and cuts as the pale-coloured ones. A great and thought through collection and a really nice ending to Raf Simons time at Jil Sander. My faves are the third look with the highwaisted pants, the fifth look with the white coat on the silver dress (great material contrast with the shiny and the matte and woolly-ish.
