Something that might be a bit scary when wearing a crop top is how much focus there’ll be on your tummy. A way to draw the attention away from the fact that you’re showing your midriff, is to wear a crop top set, like a crop top with matching pants or a matching skirt. This way, the focus will be drawn towards the fact that you’re wearing a set, in stead of the fact that you’re showing off your tummy. For such an outfit, a simple jacket and simple shoes are appropriate, so that the set will play the main role of your look.
CROP TOP – the feminine look

A way to create a nice contrast to the streety, sporty and 90’s like look a crop top usually has, is to incorporate it into a more ladylike look. At the same time, that feminine look gets a bit of counter action, so that a flowy skirt doesn’t get way too ladylike, but gets a younger and fresher twist. Is there anything better than that implementing both femininity and the coolness of the crop top in one outfit? I think not!

The obvious choice, when styling an outfit with a crop top is, of course going for a sporty and streety look, where the crop top is at it’s best. It also gives the crop top a more laid back and cool attitude, when you wear a pair of jeans, sneakers and a cool bomber jacket over it, so that the focus will be more on the entire look in stead of just the fact that your tummy is showing. Personally, I think this look is awesome!
