As I teased for earlier this summer, I’ve been working on a new project with a couple of creative and talented guys for a while. Those guys are Anders and Thomas from the video collective, Powerclap, and they make amazing videos. I met them through a friend a couple years ago and back then we started coming up with this idea – breaking into a market that isn’t really there in Denmark yet, solely producing video for fashion businesses. A dynamic way of making a lookbook, a mood video for a collection to communicate a brand in a new and different way.
For our first video, which we made to show our intention and to pitch to possible clients, we borrowed Baum und Pferdgarten’s fall collection from this year. We shot the video over two days in an almost-abandoned house in Jyderup with and awesome team, who really helped make this video formidable. I do the styling and art direction in this project, and I think it’s the most fun job I’ve ever done!
