I have – until yesterday – never used my white 90’s mesh top. It’s a hard thing to wear, since it 1. shows skin in quite a slutty way and 2. has super strong 90’s connotations, that no one will take you seriously, while wearing it.
But I think I pulled it off anyways. The bit mens trousers cooled the sluttyness and non-seriosity of that mesh top down to a level, where it actually works as normal day wear and not just something you might spot in a corny strip club.
I also decided to go crazy with the yellow – it’s just been so long – and I loved it! Apart from the fact that I looked like a weird, yellow monk when buttoning the jacket over the trousers, I think I pulled of that yellow look combined with the mesh top and my fave sandals and new backpack.
