Så kommer den sidste portion model-streetstyle fra Paris. Mange af de her billeder er faktisk nogle af mine favoritter fra den seneste sæson. Jo, faktisk allesammen har noget over sig, jeg er super glad for – for eksempel forskellen på de to modellers udtryk i det første billede, Ruby Aldridge, der sidder og venter på sin chauffør på tredje billede, Hanne Gaby, der gjorde sig til for fotograferne på fjerde billede, Daria Stroukous’ overraskede ansigt plus Eiffeltårnet i baggrunden på sjette billede og den sindssygt smukke model på sidste billede, vau! Hvad synes I om mine billeder og hvilket er jeres favorit?
So here’s the last portion of model-streetstyle from Paris. A lot of these photos are actually some of my all time faves from this season. Yep, pretty much each and every one of them has something about it that I really like – like the difference in the expressions of the two models in the first photo, Ruby Aldridge taking a chill while waiting for her driver in the third photo, Hanne Gaby swinging around her skirt in the fourth photo, Daria Stroukous’ surprised face and the Tour Eiffel in the background in the sixth photo and the way too beautiful model in the last photo. How do you like my photos and which is your fave?
Jeg var, indtil i forgårs, gået helt død i at lægge mine sidste(mange!) streetstyle-billeder fra Paris og Milano ud på min tumblr, men da jeg så endelig tog hul på bylden(øv for et udtryk) fik jeg vandmærket dem, sorteret, opdateret min tumblrs look plus fundet nogle frem, jeg vil vise jer her. Denne omgang er et miks af sko fra Milano og Paris - det er så sjovt, at man, som streetstyler, kan fange diverse trends, når man er ude at fotografere. En af de nye og, efter min mening, tvivlsomme skotrends, hvis man overhovedet kan kalde det det, er trompetbukser(jojo!) udover høje stilletter, så man kommer til at ligne en af de der uhyggelige mænd på stylter i cirkus. Det har en vis gakkethed og uhygge ved sig, men på samme tid giver det en fantastisk spændende silhouette at fotografere, som for eksempel på første billede, som jeg er helt vild med - åh, jeg er splittet! Nå pyt, hvorfor spilde tiden på at forvirre mig selv over min foragt/beunding af den underlige trend, når man ellers kan kigge på flotte billeder af andre sko? Jeg er komplet opslugt af skønheden af barokskoene på andet billede, som jeg næsten lå på jorden i 5 minutter for at fange heeelt rigtigt, for hold fast, hvor er de noget for sig selv - jeg ville elske at vade rundt i et sådant design-levn fra fortiden! Billeder jeg ellers er blevet glad for er nummer fem, som har sådan en vidunderlig renhed over sig med de simple sko, de lange skygger og en lille metaldetalje, der stjæler hele billedet, og billede nummer tre, som jeg fik fra den helt rigtige vinkel, da to kvinder iklædt matchende farver stod med den helt rigtige afstand og i den helt rigtige position i forhold til hinanden. Hvilke sko eller hvilket billede synes I bedst om? Og hvad er jeres holdning til trompetbukse-trenden?
Until two days ago, I had completely forgotten all about putting the rest of my many street style shots from Milan and Paris onto my tumblr, but when I finally got going, I had them all watermarked and sorted, I updated the look on my tumblr and found a few photos to show you here. This time it’s a mix of shoes from Milan and Paris – it’s quite fun, when your’re streetstyling, you get to catch all of the trends while photographing. One of the new and, in my opinion, doubtful shoe trends, if it can even be called a shoe trend, is the bell bottom trouser(oh yes!) worn over high, high heels, so that you end up looking like one of thosecreepy men on stilts in the circus. It had a pinch of goofiness and scariness about it, but at the same time, it makes for some awesome shapes and silhouettes when you shoot it, like in the first photo that I love to pieces – oh my, I’m so torn! O well, why waste your time being confused about your despise/admiration of bell bottoms , when you can look at gorgeous photos of other shoes? I, myself, am completely and utterly in love with the baroque shoes on the second photo, before which, I was lying on the ground for abut 5 minutes the get the right shot of, because, dang, they’re something – I’d love to walk around in such a design relic of the past! Photos that I’m also fond of are the fifht one, which has an impressive simplicity about it with those simple shoes, the long shadows and the little metal detail that steals the show, and the third photo, which I got from the perfect angle, when two women in matching colours were placed in the perfect distance and perfect position opposite each other. Which shoes or which photo is your fave? And what is your opinion on the bell bottoms?
Som jeg fortalte jer i DETTE indlæg, var jeg så heldig at kunne snige mig rundt bag i-Ds fotograf i Paris, mens han fotograferede modeller med det ikoniske blinkende eller tildækkede øje – så jeg tænkte lige at jeg ville give jer et par billeder af, hvordan det ser ud. Jeg var så heldig at få billeder af modeller som danske Juliane Grüner og Fei Fei Sun som klarer i-D-udfordringen på nogle ret fine og forskellige måder. Derudover er jeg helt forelsket i det andet billede af den rødhårede model, der løfter op i solbrillen for at blinke til fotografen. Hvad synes I om billederne?
As I told you in THIS post, I was lucky enough to sneak around behind i-D’s photographer in Paris, while he shot models with the iconic winking or covered eye – so I thought I’d just give you a couple of shots that I got of how it looks. I was lucky to get shots of girls like Danish model Juliane Grüner and Fei Fei Sun, who do the i-D challenge quite well and in different ways. I also love the shot of the gorgeous ginger haired model, lifting up her sunnies to wink at the photographer. How do you like the photos?
Ligesom jeg gav jer et indlæg med mine yndlingsøjebliksbilleder fra modeugen i London, har I her et tilsvarende fra Paris. Jeg tror Paris var den uge, hvor jeg fik de billeder jeg er mest stolt af – både disse øjebliksbilleder, men også en hulens masse gode billeder af modeller, som kommer i et andet indlæg. Jeg tror at et af mine favoritter her er billedet med duen på – først lægger man ikke lige mærke til den, mest fordi der uheldigvis lige er et par sorte bukser bag ved, men den giver et ret sjovt udtryk til billede. Siden jeg tog det, begyndte jeg faktisk at forsøge at fotografere folk, steder hvor der var duer og andre dyr, fordi det kunne være fint at have en portion fancy modefotos med dyr over det hele.. desværre kommer sådanne ting kun, når man ikke går efter dem, så dette var mit eneste gode due-billede. Udover due-billedet er jeg ret glad for det øverste billede med Ulyana Sergeenko i forgrunden og en horde af fotografer i baggrunden – den dag billedet blev taget var Tuileries überbefolket af turister, så der var mange hundrede flere folk end der plejer at være, det var helt utroligt. Derudover er jeg virkelig også glad for kindkysset på tredje billede, cigaretten, der matcher rygerslipset på sjette billede og sidst men ikke mindst, kvinden, der peger på det sidste billede, der havde jeg heldet med mig! Just like I posted a post with my fave “in the moment”-shots from London fashion week, here’s an equivalent from Paris. I think Paris was the week where I got the shots that I am the most proud of – both these “in the moment”-shots and an awful lot of model-shots that will be posted later. I thin that one of my definate favorites here is the photo with the pigeon – first you don’t really notice it, mostly because there is a pair of black trousers behind it, but it gives the photo a funny expression. Since I got the shot, I actually started trying to shoot people with pigeons or other animals near them, since it could’ve been fun to have a bunch of fashion photos with animals in them.. unfortunately you never get those shots once you start chasing them, so this was my only good pigeon shot. Other than the pigeon shot, I am really fond of the photo with Ulyana Sergeenko in the foreground and the horde of photographers in the background – the day I shot the photo, Tuileries was stuffed with tourists, so there were more than hundreds of people, who usually aren’t there. Furthermore I really like the kisses on the cheek on the third photo, the cigarette that matches the smoker’s tie on the sixth photo and last but not least, the pointing woman in the last photo, I really got lucky there! Da jeg kom til Milano, gik det for alvor amok med modeller – og mange topmodeller også, endda! Nogle af de første jeg spottede, den dag jeg ankom til Milano var blandt andre piger som Karlie Kloss, Liu Wen, Nadja Bender, Julia Nobis og Anja Rubik, hvilket virkelig var en omvæltning i forhold til London, hvor der var lidt småt med “de gode modeller”.. Jeg har egentlig ikke valgt at vise jer mine billeder af modeller at stil-inspirationsgrunde, eftersom jeg selv ikke finder super meget inspiration hos dem, stilmæssigt, men modeller er simpelthen bare en drøm at fotografere og chancerne for gode fotos er enorm, så hvorfor ikke lige vise nogle af de fine billeder frem(og så kan det jo være at der er andre, der bliver inspireret af dem)? Mine yndlingsbilleder er helt sikkert det øverste med den rygende Nadja Bender, mest grundet kompositionen, det andet nederste af Ming Xi, fordi hun bare er så skøn og de to nederste af Karlie Kloss og Cora Emmanuel på grund af det, at Karlie er så sindssygt høj at der ikke var plads til hele hendes krop på billedet og fordi jeg elsker Coras blik. Hvad synes I om billederne og de smukke piger?
When arriving in Milan it turned out to be model madness all over – and even top model madness at times! Some of the first girls I spotted on my arrival day in Milan were Karlie Kloss, Liu Wen, Nadja Bender, Julia Nobis and Anja Rubik – a huge shift from London, where the “good models” weren’t that apparent.. I’ve actually not chosen to show you these model-shots because of their style, since I find little inspiration in how they dress, but just to show you how amazing photos they produce – models are such a dream to shoot, so why not show off some of my best shots(and maybe some of you actually get inspired by them as well)? Some of my fave shots here are the first of the smoking Nadja Bender, mostly because of the composition and her amazing jawline, the ssecond to last one of Ming Xi, because.. well, she’s just great, and then the last wo ones of Karlie Kloss and Cora Emmanuel, because of the fact that Karlie was actually too tall to fit in to the picture and because of Cora’s amazing stare. How do you like the photos and the gorgeous girls?
